There is no need for the patient to stay in the hospital during the course of treatment when infected with lung cancer, the patients can get the tablets from the out patient ward and can have the tablets as prescribed by the doctor at home. It necessary that they follow the correct dosages. If required they can stay in the for two or three days but this is only in rare cases. Concurrent chemotherapy for lung cancer is a combination of both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Here the advantage is that the patient is quickly cured by getting benefited by the both the treatments.
