FAC Chemotherapy

Fac chemotherapy is a type of chemotherapy which is used to treat both nod negative and nod positive breast cancer in women. Fac is combination of three drugs namely fluorouracil (5fu), Adriamycin (doxorubicin), cyclophosphamide.
In fac chemotherapy each drugs kills cancerous cells in slight varied manner. Fluorouracil is filled up with molecules. This drug finds its way to cancer cells and prevents the functioning of these cells. When the cancer cells cannot function, they die. Adriamycin is a drug which is used to stop the passage DNA production in cells and it also restrains enzymes which are responsible in repairing DNA. Cyclophosphamide in fac chemotherapy gets connected with the DNA of cancer cells. After fac chemotherapy, cancer cells get confused and they will unable to reproduce themselves.
A benign neoplasm of bone, producing desorption and characterized by giant cells is known as giant tumor cells chemotherapy.
Symptoms of chemotherapy are of two types that are acute short term symptoms and chronic which is nothing but long term symptoms .It is genuine that chemotherapy kills cancer cells but it also kills healthy cells in our body. Symptoms may include hair loss, dryness of the mouth and change in sense of taste, diarrhea, feeling sick and vomiting, swelling with pain, loss of appetite and constipation, fatigue, bleeding, etc.
